Desay Battery Honored with the "2025 Gaogong Golden Globe Award for Innovative Product"

The 2025 Gaogong Energy Storage Annual Conference was held in Shenzhen December 9 to 11. Desay Battery was honored with the "2025 Gaogong Golden Globe Award for Innovative Product" at the ceremony, recognized for its "Proactive Safety AI Cell and Full Lifecycle Proactive Safety Management Technology."  This prestigious honor represents high recognition for Desay Battery's continuous investment in research, development, and innovation.
 
 



Rong Qiang, Dean of the Desay Battery Research Institute, delivered an in-depth presentation on solutions for high-rate energy storage products enabling millisecond-level grid frequency regulation and ensuring reliable power supply for data centers, offering new ideas and directions for industry development.


 
Addressing the core challenges in the large-scale development of energy storage—particularly the stringent requirements for millisecond-level response, high-power output, and extreme environment adaptability driven by surging AI computing power and high-frequency grid regulation—Desay Battery proposed a high-rate energy storage solution based on a dual technological approach. The company is committed to pushing the lithium battery system to its performance limits while actively breaking new ground with the sodium battery chemical system, aiming to provide product support characterized by high power, high safety, and wide temperature range adaptability for various scenarios.

Rong Qiang elaborated from three aspects: high-rate lithium battery products, high-rate sodium battery products, and empowerment through new technologies. Taking the DLP-86Ah cell as an example, Desay Battery demonstrated the outstanding comprehensive performance of its high-rate lithium battery products. The DLP-86Ah cell excels in temperature rise control, environmental adaptability, charge retention, and recovery capability, and has passed durability tests while obtaining internationally recognized safety certifications. Regarding high-rate sodium battery products, the company focuses on breaking through the performance boundaries of traditional batteries. The products show excellent capacity retention rates under extreme low and high temperatures. In terms of cycle life, they not only meet the stringent micro-cycle and operational cycle requirements of industry standards, but actual test data also demonstrates exceptional long-term reliability. The company has actively participated in industry standard development with such products and has received multiple national-level honors.
